New addition to the fam!

Well, we have been very blessed the last week. So many good things have happened to our family!! One of them is that we got an unexpected check in the mail which gave us a decent budget for a family car. We thought we would save it and just casually look for a van. We have been looking on craigslist and in the paper and nothing had been catching our eye. Everything was $5000 or more or have 200,000 miles on it. I was driving to pick up the girls from school one day and happened to see this van in someones driveway for sale. I stopped, which normally I wouldn't have done, and checked it out and got the phone number. We test drove it a couple days later and we really liked it. The only problem was that they were asking just a little more than what we could afford. We told them our situation and told them what we could pay. The next day we drove it again and talked about the price. They ended up taking what we could pay!! We were all so excited and felt so blessed! The kids are loving the new roominess and I am loving sitting up a little higher than our little car!!

Well, here it is!! The new addition to our family! The kids are ecstatic that they all fit!! I know, that sounds so sad, but we really didn't all have a seat in out other car.

This is what the kids did while we were in the process of buying the van. They had a blast.

I wish we had a huge climbing tree in our yard. The girls absolutely love climbing trees. I did when I was little at my Grama's how too!

I was reading in Shaina's blog and saw that you said you lived in Pocatello. For some reason, I never caught that before. Sometime we should all get together!

I would LOVE a mini-van! When our car was being fixed last year I got to drive one as a rental and I loved it. So nice and roomy--it drove great too. Joe is adamant that we'll never get one--we'll see about that!
