Project #1

Here was my first project! The girls room. I think that 1 1/2 years of white walls was quite enough. I figured since we are going to be in this apartment for at least 5 more years that it was ok for me to paint and decorate. I don't think I could stand white walls any longer!! There are more projects after this one, but I am only going to post one at a time!! Sorry, these pictures aren't the best. The room is a lot cuter in person!

The girls new room!! They have the smallest room, but I think it works out pretty good. I wish their closet was twice the size though. Izabel has WAY to many clothes!!

These are the duvet covers I made for them out of sheets. It took me a while to find sheets that I liked. All of the printed sheet sets always had white base colors and I didn't think that was such a good idea. So, these yellow ones were perfect!! And are you surprised at how their bedding and their walls are NOT pink?! haha

Here is their desk area. The mirror was in our room but it was just the right size for above the girls desk. They were pretty excited about it too! Now they have somewhere to put on their makeup! haha

Of course we have Grace's Coldwater Creek picture that she won up on the wall and Izabel's Dora couch that I don't think she will ever want to get rid of! I painted flower hooks for their bath robes too.
