The Laga's house

Last Friday we went over to The Laga's house for a bonfire. It was the students from his institute class that were invited. They live out towards Arimo on a small farm. The kids had such a blast out there!! They had horses to ride, pigs, kitties, a dog and chickens. There was tons of room to run and lots of things to see. It would be a great place to take picture!! I am so glad that we went even though the weather had been terrible all day!! It turned out to be a nice evening. We went on a Bro. Laga "hike" a.k.a. "mountain climbing". I was pretty sure what to expect, but since nobody else really new him they had no idea. It was a mountain climb up steep rocks. We got up to a cave and spray painted our names on the rocks (the girls loved this!) and then came back down. It was 2 hours round trip and the last 20 minutes or so it was almost too dark for me to see. We all did make it out alive and it was a lot of fun. I am sore from my neck to my knees now though!! LOL!! I hope you enjoy the pics! I put on a lot since I haven't put up a post in a few days!!!

Kingston when he first caught site of the dog wouldn't stop jabbering. Marcus let him down so he could pet her and she just laid there and enjoyed it.

Emmett found a new weapon while the girls were riding horses. LOL!! He can play with anything and be entertained!

Isabel being led by Kyle (Laga's second youngest) on Rex. The Laga's were so nice to let the kids ride their horses. And their kids were so helpful!! The kids loved Kyle, especially the girls!

Isabel trying her best to be patient for her turn to ride Rooster.

Just a cute picture of Kingston. I love close ups!!

Daddy and Emmett getting led around by Kyle (Laga's second youngest) on Rex giving us the thumbs up!!

Emmett waiting for a turn to ride Rooster. With his still cheese grin.

Isabel was riding Rooster while Zoe (Laga's youngest) led her around. Grace thought she was such a big girl riding her horse all by herself. She even has on her cowgirl boots!! haha

Kingston loved playing with this chain while we waited for the kids to be done riding the horses.

Grace after she fell off the horse. Sister Laga gave her a hug and made sure she was alright and showed her what she did wrong and how to do it the right way. Then she made her get back on the horse she wouldn't be afraid of it.

Kingston loved the dog and the kitties. He kept trying to say kitty. It was funny how excited he would get for the littler animals, but the bigger the animal the less interested he was in them.

This dog loved people and was so friendly. Kingston was so short that he kept getting licked in the face!! haha He didn't like it very much though.

Emmett and his usual cheesy grin. He was riding Rooster here. He had a good time exploring the farm.

Anyone up for a unicycle ride? Emmett thought this was the coolest thing ever. You couldn't wipe the smile off of his face.

The kids were awesome hikers!! I didn't get any pictures of the girls hiking cause they were a ways in front of us. We kept asking Emmett if we needed to carry him, but he would assure us that he was a good climber and could do it on his own.

I think my camera was afraid of heights. Just about every picture I took on the mountain was blurry. I was even making sure I was holding really still while taking them. Kind of a bummer.

Good old Brother and Sister Laga. He was my seminary teacher in high school in Coeur d'Alene. He is now Marcus' Institute teacher at ISU!! Isn't that something?

Mesmerized by the fire. The bonfire was HUGE at first so I kept having to scoot Emmett back because he said he was burning. Then when it finally settled down I had to scoot him closer cause then he said he was freezing.

Emmett with his new friends. I didn't catch this girls name, but he say with her for a good hour and an half just talking and cuddling away!! haha She said she wanted to adopt him. hehe

Here are the girls with their new friends talking on the tractor.

That looks like such fun! I love being out in the country. Funny stuff - I think Bro. Laga was Paul's institute teacher as well - at Marsh Valley. Anyway. Your kids are adorable!

You guys are always doing something fun! Funny how Gracefell off a horse and then got right back on. Now she can actually say she did that!

I bet your kids had the best time exploring things there! Looks like fun.

I hope your eye gets better soon--we're both going to miss out on the new baby if we don't get better fast!
