First Day of Kindergarten!!

Isabel's first day of Kindergarten!! She was so excited! And she looked to cute! You probably can't tell in the picture, but her stretch pants are sparkly and her skirt have tiny pink poka dots. I wish I had gotten a picture of her when she got on the bus. She was waving to me out the window and her face was so lit up, it was adorable! I gave her the option to ride the bus or I could take her to school the first day, she chose the bus. She is turning quite independent. She can be so responsible when she wants to be.

Isabel getting off the bus from her first day of kindergarten!! She was so excited to go to school this morning that she got herself up and dressed and came in our room twice before we got up and kept telling us we needed to take her to school! She is so cute. There is a 6th grader named Emily that lives across the street and rides the bus also and she was made Isabel's bus buddy. Isabel said they are best friends now. I was glad to hear that she was partnered up with someone that I can trust! It was so weird to have 4 hours of peace and quiet this afternoon! Me, Emmett and Kingston just kind of hung out and took it easy today. I'm sure that won't happen all the time since I should be using this quiet time to clean or go grocery shopping.

Grace getting off the bus today. When she got off she had $5 in her hand and she said she found it on the playground. She is such a scavenger!! LOL! We told her that she needs to take it to the office on Monday and if nobody claims it in 2 weeks they will let her have it. We told her that if that was some kids lunch money they are going to be very hungry and then she finally agreed after trying to convince us that it was OK if she kept it!! She was less than excited to ride the bus because of her cruddy experience with school last year. She very much disliked school last year and the bus rides. She didn't have very good friends and that makes all the difference! She has a friend from the ward that lives 2 buildings down from us and they are in the same class and sit together on the bus, so she is enjoying it so far.
