A Day at the Eastern Idaho Fair!

This is how our fair adventure started out. Kingston and Emmett both fell asleep in the car before we got out of the driveway. So of course Emmett was in a bad mood when we got to the fair. It only took him about 15 minutes come out of it though! He was great after that!

All the kids love animals. I wish I would have got a picture of Matthew. Ryan said he kept standing in the goats way on purpose and just let them but his tummy with their heads and laugh about it!! I should take the kids to Mckee's pet store more often. They have a petting zoo at the store and a monkey. It would be free entertainment for the kids!!

And here are the little girls having a great time! I don't know how much longer we are going to be able to call them the LITTLE girls though!!

Kingston was not a fan of this ride. The ride wasn't even going and when I tried to put him on there with Emmett he had a death grip on me!! It was super funny, but I think I may have traumatized him for life!

Emmett was not too thrilled to share the ride with Matthew, but Matthew didn't care!! He had a smile on his face the entire time! Too cute!

A couple of cowgirls. These were the cheapest rides. hehe They were a quarter so we let them ride these ones a few times.

Girls at dinner. I don't think we have eaten that much grease all year!!

All the kids wanted hot dogs or corn dogs, so here it is!! I think Emmett almost ate the entire thing also!!

Emmett was waiting ever so patiently for his turn on the helicopter ride. When we got on we went around 2 times and then the generator went out, so we all had to get back off, but we got free tickets for another ride!!

Grace and Karly on the flying ride. This one went way in the sky and back down and again and again and again. They had a blast on this one!!

Isabel and Emma on the flying ride. I totally wanted to go on this one too, but didn't have tickets for us. I was a little bit nervous for Isabel's reaction to this ride because she is so unpredictable, but she loved it.

Emmett and Daddy on a twisty car ride. I couldn't believe Marcus went with Emmett on this ride. He usually can't handle the twisty ones. The picture is a little bit blurry, but I couldn't resist putting this one on with Emmett's face so cute!!

Kingston didn't feel well this evening, but he did great!! He was a little bit whiny that was easily fixed if you held him for just a few minutes. Such a good boy.

The girls were being so patient waiting for Emmett to finish one of the rides he chose. They all huddled up to get a Best Friends picture together. We missed you Lauren and Ali!!

This is the one game the kids all decided to play together. They could only choose from a couple of different ones. We made sure that they were ones that you won a prize no matter what. The only way to go!!

This is the prize Emmett won at the fishing game. I don't think it could have been a much better prize for him. Grama Shanny has swords like this at her house and they are pretty much glued to his hip the entire time we visit.

The girls with our end of the evening treat. It was nice because when we went to buy the cotton candy Grace came up to me and thanked me for taking her to have such a fun day at the fair. I was so happy that they are FINALLY remembering to say thank you for the nice things that are done for them.

Jeni's cousins had a booth at the fair and did old fashion pictures also!! So we went ahead and got a great deal on one of those. It I can figure out how to work the scanner I will try and post a copy of the picture on here. It turned out really cute! I look mean in the pic though. I always do if my face is relaxed so there wasn't any surprise there. I guess I will smile next time!

Overall we had a great time at the fair this year. The weather was great, the kids were great, the food was great and the company was great!! I was telling Marcus, "when we come next year...." and he stopped me and said "we have to come again next year?". He isn't much of a fair person.
