Sunday Activities

Appartenly I didn't hear Marcus come home from his sunday meetings....and Kingston thought it was funny. I don't take Sunday naps very often but I could have slept all day today!

Isabel and Marcus were having hugging contests. Isabel's face is bright red cause she was holding her breath so long! haha The kids were so good this evening. They played jungle gym dad (my favorite cause I can just sit and watch Marcus get hurt instead of me!) and hide and seek in the dark. The seeker got a flashlight though. They played this for quite a while. I remember playing this when I was younger! We had the best time! It never failed though, someone would get hurt and we would have to stop playing.

Emmett was showing me which ninja turtle he was today. He is usually raphael but today he was donatello. He always says he is going to be a ninja turtle when he grows up! He often shows me his ninja kicks and ninja punches. The other day his pb&j was ninja pizza!! He is too funny.

I have a funny story that happened yesterday, we bought a blender so we could make smoothies and Marcus was checking out all the pieces and parts like always. It came with the regular blender pitcher and then a single serve cup you can attach to the blender base. Marcus wanted to try out both so he blended some stuff in the single serve cup and then transfered it to the pitcher. After he poured it in the pitcher he noticed that it didn't have the bottom on. Soooooo the only thing holding the liquid in the pitcher was the counter top!! I am glad he noticed though cause that would have been a cruddy mess to clean up!! We all laughed pretty hard about it.
